Swedish Mora Clock
THE MORA LONG-CASE CLOCK 1850

This clock was thoroughly restored by clockmaker S.Karlson (James Eftr.) for Christmas 1947. The painting has been done by the vocational school of Boras. John Lovell inherited the clock 1946 when his parents passed away.
The Mora Long-Case Clock, is a classic example of Swedish country crafts - origination from Mora, Northern Sweden in the 18th Century. The Mora Clock is often presented as one of the strongest icons of a traditional Swedish country home, and its simple beauty makes it an attractive antiquity in modern living.
